Southern Virginia Bridal Faire

Bride FAQs

How much does it cost to attend the 2008 Southern Virginia Bridal Faire?

Advance Tickets are $3 per person and $5 per person at the door.  You can save $2 per person by pre-registering.  At this price, you can buy tickets for your family, wedding party, and friends.

Do I have to pre-register?

No, but I do advise pre-registration to save you time when you arrive.  Once you pre-register, all you have to do is come to the ticket desk and pick up your package including your passport to vendors, gifts from vendors, linesheets for the fashion show and a timeline of events.

Where can I pre-register?

You can pre-register at Timeless Traditions Bridal Boutique, Belk's of South Boston, or Creative Cake Shoppe.  Or you can mail your information and check (made payable to Southern Virginia Bridal Faire) to Timeless Traditions, 1719 Seymour Drive, South Boston, VA 24592.  Please include $3 for each ticket and all of the following information for the bride and groom.  First and last names, addresses, telephone numbers (the best time to call) and email addresses.  Also, we need your wedding date and if the date is definite.

Once we receive your information, we will mail your tickets to you.

Who can attend this event?

Brides, grooms, parents, attendants, friends, and family can attend.  So go ahead and reserve tickets for everyone today!

How much time do I need to use?

You need to make sure that you have enough time to spend with each vendor.  You don't want to cheat yourself by trying to run around and visit each vendor in 30 minutes.  Remember to be eligible for any door prizes, you have to visit each vendor and have them sign your passport.  The event is a total of 3 hours with about 45 minutes being for the fashion show, you really need to set aside the entire time.

Will I need to fill out any forms?

Some of the vendors will have forms for you to fill out so that they can contact you at a later time.  The best way to save time at each booth is to have pre-printed labels with your name, the groom's name, mailing address, telephone number and wedding date on the labels.

Do I need to bring any money?

If you meet a vendor that you want to provide a service for your wedding, they may request a deposit prior to booking you.  Some vendors offer special pricing if you book them the day of the event and other vendors have event special raffle tickets for sale.  We will be able to accept Cash and Checks only the day of the event.
